Job description:
We are currently seeking a junior Developer / Tester to join our development team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both software development and testing, along with a keen interest in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsabilities:
- Write reliable, maintainable, and tested code following best practices.
- Contribute actively to software code evolution and maintenance.
- Write unit, integration, and UI automated tests for existing code, ensuring the validation of software functionalities.
- Stay updated on emerging developing / testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve processes.
Technical requirement:
- Java, Jakarta EE
- JSP / JSTL / Servlet
- Spring framework
- SVN
- SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL server)
- Hibernate / JPA
- HTML5 / CSS3
- Javascript / JQuery
- Junit / TestNG / Mockito
- Selenium
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Autonomous and self-organized.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Languages:
- Proficient in French, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- German, Italian, or Dutch are considered as an asset.
